A focused route for selected universities.

TheSustainImpact is a Portugal-based international platform working across sustainability, innovation, academic conferences, publication pathways and applied impact engagement. Its current ecosystem includes TheSustainImpact International Conference, TheSustainImpact Conference Proceedings Series and the Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact, JSII.

For each conference cycle, TheSustainImpact identifies a limited number of universities from different regions for a selected university invitation route. The aim is to create a focused first-stage engagement, not a broad public sponsorship page and not a long formal agreement.

• It is connected to the 2026 international conference cycle.
• It is designed for selected universities, not ordinary individual attendance.
• It can begin practically, without a formal long-term agreement at the initial stage.
• It may later develop into wider academic activities if both sides see value.

The selected route is designed to give the university visible and practical academic value through the existing TheSustainImpact conference and publication ecosystem.

• Institutional visibility: logo visibility and a short institutional profile in selected conference or engagement materials.
• Faculty contribution: one suitable academic may be invited as a speaker, panelist, moderator, presenter or academic contributor, depending on topic fit and availability.
• Research route: faculty, postgraduate or selected student work may be submitted for conference consideration.
• Publication pathway: suitable accepted work may be considered for TheSustainImpact Conference Proceedings Series and, where appropriate, JSII, subject to editorial review and publication criteria.
• JSII academic community: one qualified academic nominated by the university may be considered for inclusion in the JSII editorial or reviewer community, subject to academic profile and journal scope.
• Student or postgraduate option: selected work may be considered for showcase, presentation or recognition where relevant.

The first step does not need to be formal or long. Wider activities can be discussed later only if the initial engagement is useful for both sides.

• Joint webinar or short academic session.
• Faculty research or publication development activity.
• Student sustainability and innovation showcase.
• Focused panel on sustainability, innovation, digital transformation, business, technology or communication.
• Further institutional cooperation, only if both sides decide it is worthwhile.

The route works best when the university identifies a clear internal contact and chooses the areas most relevant to its own priorities.

• Confirm interest in the selected university invitation route.
• Nominate one contact person for coordination.
• Provide logo and a short institutional profile if the route is confirmed.
• Nominate one suitable academic contribution for conference consideration.
• Nominate one qualified academic for possible JSII editorial or reviewer community consideration.
• Share the conference and publication opportunity internally with relevant faculty, postgraduate researchers or student groups.

The selected university route is not presented as a free public invitation. Final arrangements are confirmed directly according to the scope, level of participation and conference-cycle capacity.
